Should Inflos Be Sacrificed For Better Rootage?

I planted a one tip, rooted cutting - (TOBA'S FIRE/EMBERS) - and new leaves are now growing from the top end of the cutting. If an inflo starts to form, should I nip out any sprouting flower buds, so that a stronger root system can grow without the added burden of supporting flowers, or, does it even matter? Do I need to wait until the rooted cutting puts out some strong stems, before I let this cutting flower? BTW, I hate waiting for the "big pay-off", but if I have to, I will.

Plant is now growing in a buried, 3-gallon pot filled with a standard, "gritty mix", and plant is exposed to the full, Floridian sun. As the plant gets bigger, it will eventually go into the ground.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Frank
