Hedge shears?

I have an very overgrown honeysuckle. I need to get it under control before it swallows the trees and flower beds. What would be a good manual shear to tackle it? Something with a long reach. I need something easy to use as I am an older lady with arthritis. Thank you for any suggestions.

There's a tool called a reciprocating pruning shears or hedge shears. We have the the lopers. They feel kinda funny but they are alot easier to use. We got ours at Ace Hardware. Maybe Lowe's or Home Depot sells them?

Here is a link to Sears pages for reciprocating pruning shears or hedge shears. There are a lot of them at various prices. Maybe someone who has tried these can tell us which ones seem to be the best. Many are on sale. Looks like a great tool especially for us older folks and the ads give the weight - important if you are super strong.
