There's a tool called a reciprocating pruning shears or hedge shears. We have the the lopers. They feel kinda funny but they are alot easier to use. We got ours at Ace Hardware. Maybe Lowe's or Home Depot sells them?

I have some from Home Depot. They're great!

Maybe someone who has tried these can tell us which ones seem to be the best. Many are on sale. Looks like a great tool especially for us older folks and the ads give the weight - important if you are super strong.
