We are a 501c3 charity organization who focuses on substance abuse treatment for the underprivileged in Chicagos west side. The city of Chicago has generously given us a nice plot of land right behind the building that we work out of. In the past it was a garden for the community that was obviously neglected and then over ran with garbage and weeds. Since last week we have cleaned the garbage out and cut paths through the beds, and cut all the weeds out. We are looking for any type of help with seeds, equipment, and anything else. Our garden is going to public accessible and its going to be used as a form of earthing therapy for our clients so that they can learn about caring for something other then themselves. We want to teach them how to be self sustaining by growing their own food and eating their own food. We have a serious mission and vision for the Garden which were going to call "Solid Ground" and could use any type of help possible.
