Not sure if this is any help, but I winter my tender roses in pots in unheated garage with no problem. Some are zone 7 or 8. (Hybred teas) I am in zone 3. Just set them on cardboard or something and then I cover them with old quilts I picked up at rummage sales. Are these dwarf or regular sized trees, just curious. I would probably spray them before bringing in. I had aphids on some of mine. I would think fruit trees would be much hardier than my roses. Oh and I water them about once a month about a cup per rose. Hope someone with more knowledge chimes in.
