I currently have about ten plants (cukes and peppers) which I've been hardening off outdoors for the past week. I was hoping to harden them off two weeks ago and plant them on Mother's Day, however it rained for ten days straight here in NJ so I was forced to delay.
I was seriously hoping to (finally) plant them this weekend, however, Friday and Saturday are forecast to be rainy. Sunday looks nice, however, it will only be 55 degrees and at night it is expected to go all the way down to 35. Are these temps too low for my plants to handle? Should I wait until Monday when the cold snap is forecast to be over?
