I personally really like the color combo of grey with some light yellow accents.

The colour of that sofa will be beautiful with dark brown floors.

A perfect colour palette, I think.

Mauve and dark brown are a perfect combo I on the other hand think yellow will cheapen the look so i would use texture and silver as my accents I actually like Rinas color palette with some silver mixed in

With the palette I posted, you can make the green and the dark violet (mauve?)* much darker, then use the lighter colours for small accents (yes, and silver). And use dark wood furniture. you would get a very rich-looking room that is not depressing.

* Colour terminology drives me crazy.

I must say, though, that I do like the idea of a saturated red in the combination.
