This is only the second one I've ever seen in person lol When the hoya bug bites, it bites hard.

I just found an old teapot with gold guild and roses that it sits down it nice and snug.

Good deal, Joanna! That's one that has reverted to green, it makes one of the very best clones of carnosa. And once it reverts, it blooms a lot easier than the variegated one. Congrats!

Oh, and I have a Chinese tea pot I drilled a hole in years ago and it has one of my Hoyas in it. I love the look!

Grow, baby, grow!

The little bumps are hard to identify by your pic. The longer ones toward the soil are not peduncles. They are the aerial roots. That one beside the leaf looks to me like new leaf growth.

As you can see, aeeial roots can form all along the stem. Peduncles always form between the two leaf petioles. I have had peduncles form on both old and new growth, before leaves fully develop and after. I have never had a peduncle grow "out of place", but I have had more than one pedunclw grow between two leaves, and I have also had a peduncle form on another peduncle:

In the first pic, without my scribbling, you can see that both peduncles originate from the same location, but the smaller one is growing out of the base of the more mature one. How this happens...no clue!
