(Red-white x Bogota) x picotee 2013

The
Hippeastrum flowers are virtually all over now for the year. One last bloom is of one that has not
flowered before, a cross made in 2013 between a red-white x Bogota cross,
pollinated by picotee. This is the
result - it reminds me very much of showmaster

Yes, it does remind me of Show Master. I too would be interested to see the red/white x Bogota because I have a few seedlings of Sidney ( bought as Clown) x Bogota that I've had for several years that just don't seem to want to bloom!!

This
was the one - rather solid red with only a bit of the Bogota shape in the petals.

It's pretty though but I was hoping to see a little of the white in it. I guess Bogota's genes won out on this one!
