Broken Irrigation line @ Vavles, Need suggestions

So I noticed I had a leak the other day and dug up my valves to discover this break:

Usually I could repair a broken pvc line, but I'm new to this don't know where to start with this one. Any ideas or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Not even sure how it broke on the first place. Wondering if one of the landscapers ran into one of the valves.

As a novice who can do the easy stuff, I'd think you might need a pro for that.

I think you should cut back and replace the verticle pvc leading into valve 2 and 3 as well as clean up and fix the horizontal pvc between 2 and 3.

you might able to invest in a large enough box to put around it, but it might be slightly difficult since the system is already in place with lines running everywhere.

if it were me, I would probably fix the break then bury it again... ... perhaps landscape around it?
