Headboard question

My master bedroom has a country feel to it with the cream and blue colours. It has beautiful brass bed in excellent shape and I think it compliments that country feel. However, I keep thinking I should update and replace it with an upholstered headboard in cream. 30 years ago brass beds were the craze and were quite expensive. I would hate to give it up if they come back in style. Are brass beds coming back anytime soon?? Thanks.

So I'd update the bedding and see. Place quilt, etc. on a stand, on a chair, etc. instead of countrifying the bed itself.

All the the suggestions are great. It was actually nice to see a decor using an brass bed. The major issue I have is being able to keep the brass bed without the décor looking outdated. For now I will think on it. Thanks all.
