Signs of life? Need pics as stated previously, but a dormant VFT is not actually brown and dead. It still has low-lying green leaves and smaller traps.

If your plant still looks like that, then it's still alive. But if it's some kind of brown, dry-looking plant mass, then it could be dead.

From extensive reading, I found that some VFTs are still dormant even through May, depending on their area they were growing in.
