I lost alot of container plants due to heavy rain and no sun, I learned my lesson and I now bring them in before they get water logged and rot, I'm assuming your down south, I would bring them in or try to find a place you can put them away from the rain, maybe under tables. I also will tip some if I can and let the water drain off. Good Luck !!!!

They're in the 5-1-1 mix so no worries. My Monstera is in peat because I haven't repotted yet but its so rootbound this rain is probably doing it a lot of good!!! I plan on repotting once the weather clears up.

It's not heavy rain just rain, mostly drizzling. And the spot where my plants sit doesn't get drenched anyway but they do get wet.

Thank God we did get some sun yesterday so they got a chance to dry out.

I've mentioned it plenty of times on here, but my state, right next door to Jamila's, gets lots of rain. I put all of my plants out in the rain when it rains. If they're not already outdoors. Rain water is far better and more aerated than tap water. No matter how much it pours down, I never have to worry about "overwatering."

Just like Dave stated, a lot of it has to do with using the right soil mixes. Rain water is highly oxygenated, and is far different than dealing with standing water that has stagnated. Not once have I had do deal with root rot or any other problem associated with overwatering a plant. Plants love the rain, just so long as you keep them in a fast draining soil mix that never stays soggy.

Yes it is. The leaves on my plants outside are all shiny with no water marks on them!!!

Its supposed to be nice and sunny today and I'm sooo glad. My babies could use some sunshine!!!!
