I should have some in about a month. Have never been able to grow them from seed myself, although I have tried. The seeds are viable as I get many volunteers.

I traded for some last year and have lots of seedlings now. plant fresh seeds (they have to be fresh) as soon as you get them under a shrub, cover slightly. by next march you should have seedlings. Transplant them when they get their first true leaves I can't remember where I read this, so easy and it works. Good luck :)

Vaflowernut, that makes a lot of sense. All my volunteers come up from in between the crevices in the nearby rocks or right under the plant itself. None when i put in pot or wintersow.

I was really surprised how easy it was and It looks like all of the seeds germinated, I haven't transplanted any yet, I should have done it weeks ago.
