Ravenea rivularis (aka Majesty Palm). Very poor houseplant normally as its needs for humidity, direct or very bright sunlight, and filtered water are so high... and its susceptibility to spider mites as well. Does best if you want to continue taking care of this plant as a house plant by at least moving it outdoors during the times the year it does not go much below freezing (which, I would hope, would be 80% of the year or more). Some manage to keep this plant fairly healthy for years by doing that, but few by keeping it indoors all the time (would be better if you had a greenhouse to keep it in if you want to keep it 'indoors').

OK I can put them outside. What palms work best inside that are similar in size,or close?

how about a kentia palm? Good for the Air too?

Kentia palm is the best of all palms for indoor use... good idea!
