Large flower for a small plant. I've not been successful yet at growing Masdie's!!!

Another Genera not often seen about these parts, though I think there are few that tolerate warmer conditions.

Easier in San Francisco, Tasmania and Nick's cold glass-house.

James I had luck growing them in NY, Z5-6. I put them outside in the summer under a shady tree. Left them out until it got quite cold (mid 30's). Brought them inside to an unheated sunroom and they flowered well. They also grew well getting more sunlight than recommended.

I got my first Masd. last fall. I finally see leaf growth after a seemingly resting winter for the plant. Can't wait to see it bloom someday.
