My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Ideas for replacing existing overhang.

We live in an area that has very similar homes from the 1960's, and the exact same overhang on every house. I would really like to remove our existing overhang, but want the replacement design to not only be aesthetically appealing, but to make sense as well.


Attached is the current overhang, along with two photoshop mockups. I have a tendency to be drawn to modern architecture, and think these old split levels, lend themselves really nicely to modern designs as well.


Any overall advice is also greatly appreciated. I've been playing around with ideas on the rest of the facade--glass garage, cedar wrap, window above overhang, etc.
