Ficus Lyrata Leaf Regrow [Question].

A few months back I brought a Ficus Lyrata into my home. This was my first time caring for a plant of this magnitude, and needless to say, there was an adjustment period (for both of us). A combination of my lack of knowledge, as well as the previous growers neglected soil balance resulted in a close encounter with death for the FLF. The beautiful tree has stabilized since, however it has lost a majority of it's leaves. It's been three months since a leaf has fallen, but there are no signs of regrowth. I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to improve the environment of my tree, or if new leaves will regrow at all?

Context: tree is in a clay pot with good drainage. Large enough for it to have space, but still snug enough for it not to freak it out. The soil is a mix of top soil and peat moss. It is in a south facing window, with a fan blowing directly on it (in the morning and partially throughout the day). Theres a small humidifier in the same room as the tree, and I rotate it 90 degrees weekly (as well as clean the leaves when they're dusty). I haven't changed the soil it came in, and I haven't checked the condition of the roots since I brought it home. Could needing a better quality soil have something to do with it? Here is a picture, to show the size of it's current pot.
