Lighting Question

How do you achieve the lighting in this photo? This roof deck looks fabulous at night. I literally cannot figure out how you are lighting up the umbrellas.

Not sure, but it looks to me that they are using up lights located in the planter boxes.

Hello Shaun,
the lighting is reflective. I usually try to hide or recess the lighting so you cant see where it
is coming from. it is uplighting that is bouncing off the umbrellas. i tend to use this effect often
as it is soft and feels more invititing than directional lighting.
