I added feet to one of my troughs. I scratched it up the best I could and provided some force and wiggling to get good adhesion. So far they haven't fallen off... my only concern is that no one seeds my feet and the rim is the most breakable part of the pot. Can it be done, I think technically yes. Will it match and hold? That's up to you. If you do decide to extend it, let us know how that turned out.

If the area you want to add to is thick enough, you can use a masonry drill bit to drill holes and then use the hypertufa extension to cement your nails in place. Make sure you soak the old piece in water to give you better adhesion.
