What's the average low temp there in winter? I believe they should be o.k. year round there IIRC. Maybe with a little protection. Corrections welcomed.

As Tommy mentioned, depends on what you winter temps are like. The pitchers and vft I would think would be okay. You could always check what the average winter temps are in the Carolinas to which the vfts are native. The dews would be the ones I would worry about. I don't know how strong a cold tolerance capensis have. Research their native habit for winter lows to compare against yours.

Are those drosera anglica? Intermedia? All of my stuff is in the ground and I have everything you have. They do great here. If you're leaving them in tiny pots, they'll be a lot less hardy. The one I would worry about first is the dionaea: they're hardy in the ground and in bigger pots probably... A cold winter might harm it. Not that we've had any of those for 3 years. Are you in Portland?

I'm not exactly sure what any of them are for sure, except the big two in back. They all came with 'funny' names like octopus plant, or vague, like sarracenia. I've also been trying to get ahold of some cobra lilies but haven't had any luck.

I'm new to the northwest but the winters are mild from what i've seen/heard, only snows once every several years. Dont get a lot of freezing temps or its short lived. I'm in beaverton just west of portland.

The small pitcher (purpurea?) was looking more and more rough up until the more recent heat and sun we've been getting. The one inside grew twice as big as the one outside in a month. The droseras inside grew twice as much as well, but the ones outside didn't look bad. Burned a few thinking they could handle being right under the LEDs before moving them off to the side a little.
