Fig tree dropped all it's figs - is it ok?

So we had rain here (zone 7) for record breaking almost like 30 days straight. During that time my three or 4 year old fig tree dropped all of it's figs sadly. Is this normal in heavy rains for it to do this? Does it look healthy otherwise? will it get any more figs?

Most figs have two crops a year with one being lighter. If you live way up north or have a certain variety, you may only get one a year i.e. no figs this year then. Fig trees can sometimes just drop all figs and/or all leaves every so often. Nothing to really worry about as they will recover.

That's just a pipe thing coming off the gutter. We are going to take that farther out of the yard soon.

We are zone 7 so hopefully we are going to get more figs! :D

Too much N fertilizer + rain will have caused that drop as well. Looks fine. Compost/mulch the top, water when required, and you will get figs.
