    Wow.

I would love a cutting off that beauty.

    Enjoy your blooms!

Yes, this variety lives to bloom. Even in pots -- even in the north!

How do you DM on this site?

OP, I am in your area and woukd like to buy a divine cutting from you if you are willing to part with one.

    Let me know...

Yes, she's a beauty. I m also very impressed with her branching habit...grow a couple of inches then throw out 3 new branches!

So few plumerias grow like this. It blooms on such short internodes.

Two of the branches are starting to bloom again after 2 inches of growth.

Beautiful flower. What is her scent?

Fantastic. Once Divine gets to terminal velocity it will bloom on new growth tips in the same year. Dupefl, not sure if you are familiar with it but Divine can be found in various nurseries in the FL area as a potted plant. I believe FL Lowes carry Jungle Jacks Plants.

    Thank you.

I plan on adding it to my collection.

Just ordered one from Jungle Jacks.

I have never ordered from this company. Any feedback from people who have?

Really hoping for a compact grower.

It is very compact. I fertilize with Excalibur and Spray N Grow.

Do you only use the Excalibur once a season in the spring?

The_first_kms advised me on my first plumeria, and I chose the divine. It is really amazing how many blooms it turns out. Mine has 6 inflows at the moment, And is fixing to go off.

Saplumeria... where you located and how old is your tree?

A que for other divine owners, how big are the blooms generally?

    1-2" or 2-3"?

    Im in San Antonio.

    Blooms are 2"

And I've only had it a year. It grew about 8" last year.......so I don't know how accurate this would be but I'm guessing 4 maybe 5 years old.

It's not a fast grower at all. Very compact, tons of foliage, tons of blooms. Jj calls them miniature plumeria. I think I paid $50 for mine. Almost double a normal plumeria, little pricey but we'll worth it!

    I have one arriving tm.

    cant wait.

Good deal. Where did you buy it from?

    Direct from JJ.

Well it just arrived and is in very good condition considering it came all the way to FL...

    Now for the disappointing news.

i am almost positive I was sent the mini white.

look at the inflows on divine, they are red, this has an inflow but it is ver light and the the flowers are white with yellow.

    Thoughts??

Heard back from Christie, sure assures me its Divine after seeing the pics.

she said due to it being in the box for 5 days without sun is the reason for the light color.

i have never ordered plumeria online so I have no experience with this process.

I don't know man. Kinda looks white to me. Although I'm no professional. My inflows are super red.

Trust me, I agree with you.

    I guess time will tell.

a week in a box may have that affect?

Kinda hoping for some feedback from someone who has ordered on line too.

Divine is that one glorious cultivar that makes me look at my other plumerias with contempt. I tell them all the time, "Why can't you be as floriferous as Divine?"

The only pitfall with Divine is the scent! It's so light most of the time, but there are some rare days when she puts on a nice perfume for you.

Flowers vary their color based on light and temperature. If it has been in a box that long, then it probably is Divine.

The only other drawback to Divine are the smaller flowers.

I ordered mine online from JJ. They are an excellent, reputable company and will stand behind what they sent you if it ends up being wrong. I have a few other JJ I got at lowes. Trust me, the ones I got directly from JJ were well rooted and with good shapes and multi branched and even had inflos. The Lowe s were smaller and just barely rooted. For the cost of shipping, you are getting a much better plant. I live in FL so even knowing the above, I will still pick up a JJ at Lowes if I want that variety cause I won't have any problem growing it on here. Enjoy your Divine, she is definitely a favorite!!!

After researching more and talking with JJ I am confident it is divine. 5 days in a box during peak growing and the inflow just didn't make it.

I took the inflow off but the little tree is doing very well and adjusting here in CFL. About a 1.5" feet tall with 12 tips already!

Hoping for for some deep pink in my blooms next year. We get plenty of heat here so I am hoping for the color to really pop next year. The OP is in Olando and has great color. I am sure his tree is been in FL for a couple of years.

    @ wanna run faster.

any info you can provide about growing divine in FL would be appreciated.

How much sun in our brutal summers, soil, pot size, fertilizers, ect..?

I plan on keeping her in her 2g pot the rest of this year and transferring next mid February to a 3 or 5g.

I repotted mine from a 3 to 5 gal in April and she already has out rooted the 5 gal. She is getting a 10 gal next with less perlite I have to water her once a day or her leaves get droopy.

Guess will go straight to the 5g next year.

@PG, post up a current pic. I bet yours looks great right now.

Mine has been in the ground for about a year. Full morning sun, shaded by the house in the afternoon. Biggest problem in Florida is rust. I m trying the Bayer systemic this year for the first time so I ll let you know if there's any noticeable difference :)

    Pictures

Central Florida rain makes her not so pretty.

Are you're buds dropping or just none open currently?

Treee looks healthy, was expecting more open blooms though.

    Thanks for the pic.

They come in flushes. Nothing for a couple of weeks, them bam!

It took about a month be she has adjusted to the climate change between CA and FL and recovered from the 5 days in a box in 100 degree temps.

It was a lil bit of a tuff transition (lost both inflows and a bunch of leafs) but Divine is now very happy in Melbourne, FL.

    Looking good.

    Looks great Dave.

I have read some of your comments about divine on this and other threads. Glad to see and hear she is doing better for you. :like

how many years have you had it?

Same here, mine now has 10 inflows.

    Just Wow!!!!!!

I've had it for maybe 4 years. They just get better as they get larger.

Agree dave, here is my divine with inflo's at every tip and is blooming

Mine blooming on many tips here in Northern Virginia.
