Tindora as far as I know, does not grow a bulb. So you might be thinking or seeing something else. Can you post a picture of the stem ?

Can I separate the root?

also I read that we should keep one main stalk until it's really long and then let it branch out. Is that true. My husband said this plant won't fruit because it needs to grow big and develop a thick stem before it can fruit and In This zone (CT) , the short vine that develops will just die back. Anyone had luck in New England with tindora?
