I'm not exactly sure what it is you are asking :-) Do lilies come in other colors than orange? You bet!! While the ones you originally planted were orange, that discount bag you were gifted could have been a different color or a mix, hence the different flower colors blooming now.

Can orange colored lilies change to another color? In more than 40 years of gardening I have never seen it, nor have I seen it happen in the commercial lily growing fields located nearby. But I guess it could happen.......virtually all Asiatic and Oriental lilies are hybrids and hybrids have the potential to revert. (btw, the thread on this forum about lilies changing colors includes a lot of discussion about plants that are not true lilies - if a plant has lily in its common name many folks assume it IS a true lily. And the majority are not - we are only referring to the genus Lilium here)

But that is not what's happened in your case - they are just different colored lily bulbs planted in the same containers.

What I'm asking is can one lily have a multi colored bloom?

Each bulb will make its one type of lily. But, like a lot of flowers, they can fade or lighten up a bit as the days in the sun go by. So some newly opened might look slightly different than an older flower. You have a few nice colors in your pics, each coming from their own individual bulb.

This year, *one* of my asiatic lilies had a deep red flower come in on it while white ones were also blooming on the exact same plant - the white ones came all of the way in - full bloom, and then the red didn't open all of the way and it fell off.
