The perfect color would be Indian River by Benjamin Moore, and you can surely pull out a deep blue for an accent wall!

I would go with a soft pale green or soft pale light yellow. I like neutrals for wild paintings even stark white like an art gallery. Cool painting.

Your painting is fabulous! I would go with white walls and bed linens accented by a red throw blanket and a few red throw pillows. An interesting night table on one side of the bed and a chair for reading/ putting on your shoes on the other. Wall- mounted, nickel swing arm lamps. Your painting really inspired me!

i'd caution on suggesting colors selections online... what I would suggest is to work with a medium to darker shade of blue, that is in the painting

The bedroom is definitely the best place to put a n@ude painting, and I wish more photos on Houzz showed that.

I really like the idea of stark white. I automatically assumed color, but I think the all white could be really pretty. I'm not a red girl, but maybe fuschia pillows would work. Thanks, all.

I agree with Alissa. A nice warm mid toned color would be the perfect background to feature your painting. Also, I would include a blue for an accent wall or in your other items, pillows, chair.

Lovely painting. To make it be the focal point in your room, keep your walls a pale neutral color with cool undertones. Pick your favorite bold color from your painting for accent colors - but select just one. All eyes should be drawn to your painting.

I'm loving this challenge and curious to know which color you go with. I'm starting to really love the rusty color in the cheekbone on the painting. Maybe for an accent wall.

Please don't use a shade of yellow - that color tends to deaden or flatten a painting. I would love to see it pop against a very dark wall.

Looking at the right sleeve on the painting, there's a touch of purple. So I would use a light purple, like lavender or lilac. White linens, with print pillows with purple and green, and a royal purple, velvet throw. I would keep furnishings and linens minimal, and get a picture light for your painting, let it be the star. It's wonderful!

Hi Eboni - you have a gorgeous bold painting. Consider a color euqally as bold - I choose Sherwin Williams Copper Wine - a pumpkin pie filling orange for my master bedroom and I find it incredibly soothing. I would suggest having the walls be light warm gray with dark accent color. Lovely painting!

My perspective after reading is: do you want her to be the 'star' and posing as the only one in the room? or do you feel her in the art to be part of a group, a party? If the latter maybe the bright party accent wall....

If she's posing for a portrait, maybe a sober neutral....

say you chose/ have chosen a neutral, maybe lamp bling, etc. could be her jewelry... to 'show' better [than with burnt orange, which was nice / blue too.....]

Wow, what a beautiful painting you have! I would suggest a fluorescent orange for your walls. I think it would contrast the vibrant colors of your painting perfectly. I included an example of the orange that I think would compliment the painting!
