i have a water barrel with a hose tap out the bottom. I send the water, for each rain, into the gardens. The question is: Is there any method to distribute it evenly to specified locations?

I can add dividers to the hose but the flow is not even.
Maybe a perfectly level gutter with varying size holes would do it. The water is filtered before it goes into the barrel and that should prevent the holes from getting plugged with debris. Then it would take hoses/tubes from the gutter to the front of the beds but now that is getting really complicated.

Thoughts? Ideas, Diagrams, better designs?
