Fix my Ficus Please

Hello. We got a ficus in October 2015. Now (June 2016) it seems to be losing all of its leaves.

It's a Benjamina ficus with a braided trunk - three stems. It's about 7 feet tall, and sits in a central room next to a window. But the window is blocked by the neighboring house; the tree doesn't get a ton of natural light.

When it started losing leaves in March/April, we bought an sunlamp. We have it set on a timer, so the ficus gets filtered natural light during the day and about 5 hours of growlamp light during the evening.

The tree seems to have lost all of the leaves from the branches of 2/3 of the braided stems. The 3rd was doing okay until last week; now its looking pretty sad, too.

We water it every two weeks. The soil is usually moderately damp an inch or so deep.

Any thoughts? I'd appreciate any suggestions.
