I grow it in pots, since it will not survive the winter outdoors in 7B. I bring the pots in the house before frost, kept watered through the winter in a sunny room. After last frost, they go back out, are well watered and cut back. It takes little time before they are growing like mad and bushy. LV is by far the very best lemony herb for tea or just about anything. We use plenty all summer long off of maybe 5 or 6 bushes, with plenty to spare to dry for various herbal tea blends with mints and other tea herbs.

I bought one back in early spring and the late frost date on top of it being mild amd rainy took a toll on mine i think

although it still has green under the woody stem... I'm just gonna try to let it do it's thing and if it doesn't make it then next spring i'll try again

Not late frost- i meant leaving it outside in the frost with it being so small still
