Have you seenthis bedding set? It has colors very similar to your design seed and it has coordinating gray drapes available. I think it will also go well with the wall color and the color of the furniture.

I'm not a fan of the duvet cover for a few reasons: it doesn't look gray or certainly it's the wrong shade of gray (it looks very mauve) for the design seed, I'm not fond of all the vertical lines in the pleats with the vertical lines in the headboard, and I'm not sure, if it were mine, that I'd want to sit on all those pleats.

Yes, it does look mauve in the photo, but in real life it's gray. It's also very soft and comfortable. I do see what you are seeing about the vertical lines in the duvet and the headboard though. I'd prefer to stay with a duvet cover as I have a nice down comforter that I use. Thanks for the input!! It's much appreciated!

Is it possible to get matching shams for your duvet cover? If not, maybe a white matelasse coverlet with matching shams. Fold your duvet across the bottom. If you like your curtains, paint the walls the same blush color.

Yes, torreykm, it came with shams. I'm just not feeling the duvet and curtains together. I think one needs to go. The duvet looks sloppy to me.

I am thinking your room reads and feels more clean lines and the duvet is the one thing that looks like it might not belong.

The red shades on your lamps are also not the soft colors you are going for.

You have a lovely room. You just might want to make a few tweaks so it can be how you want it.

Take a look at this duvet set as it has the softer colors in it like your design seed. The reason why I'm suggesting a set is, if you are unsure of your own design sense, which you say you are, then take the help from the professional designers who have already put a set together for you. Having the colors in the bedding make it much easier to pull colors together for the rest of the room like throw pillows, lamps, and curtains.

But if you want a solid, it's going to be really hard for us to help you judge colors seeing as you say they are off so much in the picture.
