I'm new to figs but have successfully rooted a few in the last month from a two year old whip that I needed to cut back

I do have one however that had two nodes - just a short about 5" piece. I put it in a 500 container on its side with coco peat barely moist. That was about a month ago and it: got tons of roots but no leaves (container is clear). Roots extend about an inch in length and radiant in all directions. Will it sprout out leaves? And if so any beat guesses on timing?

have it under grow light with clear lid.
