Nice plants, but what in the world are "reticulated snake plant"?

It looks like that one Russ dug up at his brother's house, the one that grows wild in FL, S. hyacynthoides.

I'd LOVE to know where that name came from. Does it look like a reticulated python to him? Lol.

Definition of reticulate

1. 1: resembling a net or network; especially : having veins, fibers, or lines crossing <a reticulate leaf>

I guess this is what you guys mean when u say growers put their own names on an already named cultivar. Reticulated only means python to me. Lol...small minded.

I've never heard of a reticulate Python. I assume it has veining on it as well.

Yeah, it does look like hyacinthoides to me. I took his word 'reticulated' to be a descriptive word rather than a name for the species. In other words, he doesn't know the real name. I'm sorry to say that this fellow doesn't appear to be a good grower, based on the soil he's growing in and lack of names. That said, someone said he's filling in for his father who is very ill, so a lot of slack is appropriate. Sure can't beat the prices. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a wild source for the 'reticulated' sans, like the thousands at a beach ramp across the street from my folk's place.
