Hi I just saw this old post. How does your sunburned one look now? I just sunburned my young mini but from 30c 13% humidity temps

Do you plan on pruning the branches on some after they flower? It would give you more branches. Some people like the tall natural look. I can't wait to shape mine.

I take that photo 1 month ago, is still like in that pic, I'm planning to root prune in spring, it looks ugly, I'm thinking to prune branches too, I'm waiting more stability in the weather, yesterday we got 30C and tomorrow we will have 5C, so I must wait until August, normally its hotter and stable

Just make sure they are all leafed out or after the bloom. They are stronger then.

The caudex is firm. Watch for rot.

Those in Australia and Arizona have to erect a shade house during certain times of year for their Adeniums also. Extremely high heat, especially without humidity can also hinder blooming.

Good job. hope the best for your newer young 'uns! They look nice. They are so much fun, are they not? Little 'trees' is what my family calls them. I start mine in bright shade outside, and slowly acclimate to more sun … on my east deck.

Saludos! Yes, a shade house, as Rick recommends, is a fabulous idea for your location! You can even make a small one yourself. I know someone who wired two wrought iron baker's racks to his back fence. It actually looks quite nice. He covers his 'sensititive plants' with a shade curtain on super hot afternoons or when it rains heavily. There are lots of ideas on YouTube.

Yes, Rick and María Elena, after that sunburn I've made a kind of "greenhouse" because those was morning sun burns, so you can imagine how aggressive is our afternoon sun, I'm learning that is different for each country or environment, I've read this plant like full sun, but it depends on the environment too.

Bragu! It's really fun to watch them grow, each one is unique, fatter, more leaves, less leaves, taller... I already have my favorites :)

Now I'm looking for arabicums, a friend will sell me one seedling for 5$, so yes! It's addictive haha!

Does it get to hot in your greenhouse? I know some use fans or other ways to cool it off. I use a big glass window in the winter, come spring the window can get to hot and I have to move my trees back.

It's a half open greenhouse, they get direct sun from 6am to 10am ( that is not harmful yet), and then they have filtrated sun with fabric on the top....in winter they go indoor or in the front part of the house, it's warm and winter sun is good, I move my plants all year round hahahahaha
