I love fig newtons and used to like dried figs, but got out of the occasional habit of eating figs & dates years ago for some reason. Trying to reacquire my taste and appreciation for figs if I can. What is the best tasting closed eye variety you would recommend?


I think I would prefer a closed eye variety as when I had a green open eye fig bush variety at one time ants/bugs getting into the fruit thru the open eye was a major problem and turn off.
