Hi everyone,

My plants have finally started showing some new growth, especially Nikki. She seems to have appreciated her repotting/top dressing, as she is sprouting a number of new leaves and growth. I have been busy tending to the outdoor garden to really give my plants a good looking over, but they seem to be fairly happy.

I'll have quite a busy early summer, because I have been cast in the next play at the theatre! The play is called "A Tomb With a View", and I play a man who thinks, speaks, and dresses like Julius Caesar. It's described as The Addams Family meets Agatha Christie. I am looking forward to it!

Congrats on both. The play sounds like a hoot and if the other characters are as interesting as yours, it'll be a smash. I'm trying to figure out which plant Nikki is, but so far I got nuthin'.

The play is quite interesting. Blocking tonight went very well, and it was hilarious with some of the suggestions the others were coming up with. If you ever have the chance to see it, do so :).

Nikki is my Hoya carnosa, the one I started out with. She has never bloomed, but I have been waiting for 7-8 years lol.

So happy to hear Nikki is growing. Yay!! Maybe this is the year she produces flowers!

Congrats on the play. My first boyfriend (at age 11-14) and knew from kindergarten all the way through high school (but no longer his type! :-) is a Tony Award winning producer on Broadway. Nominated in 2007 and won in 2013 for Pippin.

Monica, that's fascinating!!!! Do you two still keep in touch?

I hope Nikki does flower for me this year. The plant my friend has that was started from cuttings of Nikki flowered for her for the first time last year and is going to do so again this year. It's a younger plant, but she has never repotted it or fertilized it to my knowledge.

We keep in touch a little through Facebook (mostly for birthdays and holidays) I saw him a couple years ago at our high school reunion.

Here's my own little project I have going on right now. He'll be making his debut this October. Some of you may recognize him. He's been so fun to make and very easy to put together! I have some more details to add to him. I have had nothing but love and positive feedback about him so far ;).
