I am going to have my first bloom, (of my own) from this Phal that started out as a mini.

At least I think that is what that spike is. I have only grown orchids for about 6 months, I was afraid of them. I felt I did not have enough light.

I am in the Pacific Northwest, My orchid sits very close to a work window facing east.

The leaves have not always been quite this dark green. I am sure my cubicle at work is too dark. Should I leave it where it is for now, or bring it home for better conditions.

I have really enjoyed every ones expertise and helpfulness, here.

Seeing such exotic and beautiful orchids you all are growing is just inspiring.

Oh, my gosh, I have a flower spike!! I just cannot wait. Time to learn what care helps the flowers last.
