June Roses from Napa, CA
My roses are starting their second flush. Hope you enjoy!
Blue For You starts out very dark purple, then changes to a lavender in my garden.
Charles de Gaulle - I got this band from Rogue Valley and planted it a couple of months ago. It's actually much more lavender but the camera read the color as pink.
Elle - looking very pink and on its second flush.
Fragrant Cloud and Jude the Obscure - great combined fragrance! JtO lasted surprisingly long in the vase - four days!
Mercury Rising - I moved this rose to a sunnier spot a few months ago. It's much happier now but the rose is very short compared to the 7-8 ft height it was last year. I'm sure it's going to match its previous height.
Mitsouko - I'm really fascinated with the colors of this rose. It starts out with very yellow buds, then transitions to pastel colors.

Munstead Wood is starting its second flush. It's much more of a dark red now and less purple than it was earlier this spring.
Summer Love is rarely out of bloom!
Twilight Zone - I planted TW a couple of months ago. It seems to be a slow grower but it's starting to catch up with other spring-planted roses.

Towandaaz - I've had Elle for about 4 years and she's one of the best hybrid teas I have. Elle is very disease resistant in my warm/hot climate, and there's always new growth, buds, flowers, etc. Blooms last about 3 days, fragrance is consistent in heat, did very well despite our water restrictions, and isn't a monster - 4ft/3ft or so. This rose is also interesting because it's multi-colored - peach/apricot, pinky/white, and sometimes it's very pastel pink/yellow/white. I would recommend this rose to someone in my area who was just starting a rose garden and wanted a rose that was pretty guaranteed to do well as long it had enough sun and water. Here are a few more pics that show the color variations.
