Cypress is warm enough. I've seen many photos of Delonix and other tropicalia in Cyprus and its at least a 10b maybe z11. They just need lots of summer water....little during your very short mild winters.

Still have a couple that I grew from seed over 30 years ago. They have survived down to frost but suspect a hard freeze would do them in. Seem very hardy otherwise just incredibly slow . None of these have flowered after all this time !! gary

North Cyprus is a little cooler then I thought. Dec-Jan temps are in the low 60's for high. That's not as warm as soucal. The lows though are never below 10c and summers are very nice. With not much rainfall,I would still expect Bottles to do well.
