Hi wanna_run_faster and plumejunkie, thanks vor your answers. Yes it is a mid section cutting which I brought from Hawaii. And it was about 25 inches than I cut it again to get branches. But that is the result the upper part I planted in soil and it grows. Now I will try and put it in the sunniest place.

The pimples are called nodes. All those nodes near the top end will start to swell push out leaves (the nodes on your plant are starting to swell already). Usually 2 or 3 of the nodes will continue to grow and become branches. The rest of the nodes will drop any small leaves attempting to form.
