Need a moveable light fixture over dining table

I have a large, round dining table in great room that needs to be moved about six-eight inches when we have eight for dinner to allow adequate space for people seated near the wall. To leave the table in this position permanently overcrowds the space. Is there a type of track that a large light fixture can be moved upon so the light can be centered over the table in each of the two locations?

i have the same situation when my table is open all the way, i think in a crowd/holiday situation, no one would fault you if the light was the 3-4" off center which is all yours would be. some folks swag a chandelier over to a hook rather than move a box, but i'd think that would be more obvious than just having it be a bit off once in a while.

Thank you for your response. I just keep thinking that something like I described exists and if it doesn't, I think there's a market for it.
