You can go ahead a cut them back. Just keep them watered and they'll come back nice. I use Bayer Fungicide for trees and shrubs. You only need to spray it every 2 weeks. Works great for me.

You have mildew because the greenhouse that it grew in did! I get mildew on my Minifloras every Fall. I use Greencure.

Just trying to help. What triggers mildew is warm days and cool nights. It likes cooler weather .
