Put those in the shade. Make sure the soil is well drained. Some should root, some won't. Test the soil with a stick to make sure it's not too wet. You could tent the whole thing with plastic to keep the tops from drying out. Figs are easy to root, but a little harder when they are not dormant. It can be done! Good luck!

im 100% satisfied as of now with my 3 cuttings that have rooted. These would all be just extra and maybe given to friends

Figs remind me of yucca plants, in that I can take a tree out with a pick axe, but next year it will be growing again, perhaps this time in two places. Tiny half rotten pieces of root are in the right conditions enough material to start a plant.

Believe it or not.... These have been by far my best growers... All were taken out and individually potted today.

Theyve been growing in the same subpar conditions as originally listed. Only difference is I never watered them because the souls held so much moisture in surprised it wasn't a problem. Maybe a reason for the good roots is the soil composition stayed very wet and cool.???
