Pot adventure Today - Prompted by Tracy

After reviewing Tracy's potting up process. It got me thinking about one of my favorite places and I had not been this year, yet. It is called "Goat's On The Roof" Market. This Market is world renown and receives visitors all year now. Absolutely a wonderful place to browse and even buy.

They have the Garden Centre, Food Market (Local and from all around the world), Fresh Veggies, Restaurant, etc.

Such a magical place, to say the least. As I was leaving the place was getting crazy.

The Coombs Market has been in existence for so long and it is just packed in the Spring/Summer/Fall. It is located on Vancouver Island, B.C. Canada (location called Coombs, B.C.).

When I was young we had a lot of street vendors that would open up and sell pots from Mexico. They were great. Now I have to budget for the box store ones. I need pots and I have learned I don't like the sloppy look of the fabric pots.

Went looking for nice pots today. Found a lot that I liked. I took one tree with me. I want pretty pots that fit the plant. I have watched Laura or Tracy look for just the right pot to show. I did not know how hard the choice would be. I am going to have to take pics and ask suggestions for what I want the tree to look like. I know it will be in these new pots for awhile. With the trees young I know that it will take a couple of summers to even start to get what I want them to look like. Waiting is a pain I am not good at. With all my reading I find the choice of pot and my goal for each tree difficult to choose. I stare at them all the time. So I will be back to bug you. Grafting an shape are next for my 8 young trees. I so wish I could find older trees. I would go pot looking crazy.

I bet if we looked at Rick's storage section of his yard we would find lots of various choices. He has only just been showing us the trees he is working on .
