My rosebud azalea bushes have lush dark green leaves and plenty of new foliar growth. they also produced masses of perfect pink buds that looked for all the world like they were going to pop. They swelled as expected in April and May, but then never opened - not a single one. The blooms just stayed on the plant until they withered, turned gray and dropped off. The rest of the plant looks fantastic. What gives?
