matter of size..help id

Hi. Was hoping one of the resident expert might help id this. Size is small as compared to quarter above. Smells of sunblock and coconut and classic plumeria. Hoping the size of the bloom alone gives it away.

Normally bloom size does not vary so widely year to year. When your tree matures then you can expect it to produce flowers descriptive of that particular variety. Even then it can occasionally throw some smaller than average blooms due to many influences.

I have one like it and was told the name was Linda Gail but I am just a newbie. Mine has a nice fruity smell to it

No, I won it at a plumeria meeting raffle I attended about 5 years ago.

Impossible to ID especially by bloom size. So many variables can
change look, shape and size of blooms. Check out this Thai Raspberry
Sundae bloom compared to the following years normal 3 1/2 inch bloom.

Thanks for that Moonie, i didn't realize that bloom size varies from year to year. I guess that means ymmv when purchasing based on pictures of bloom size or desriptions stating 4in or 5in flower size.
