Worsleya seed - a few available from my recent pod

Hi All, My Worsleya pod just opened a day ago and while a few on the GW are getting seed sent out today I have either 15 or 25 seed still available. If you are interested in purchasing 5 or 10 of these and live in the US please let me know and I will give you the details. My e-mail is: paplantguy@gmail.com

I will let the Yahoo Worsleya forum know later today so at that point they will disappear in about 5 min, but wanted to offer them to the group on here first since I used to post here all the time. You can see how I grow them and my pics on here for any additional info.

Hi Dan,

Just a quick update on the seeds you sent. I made a mixture of mostly pumice, some medium/fine scoria and a very little bit of expanded clay aggregate as the "growing" medium. After it was watered a bit, I placed the seeds on top and put a little sphagnum moss to provide a little humidity. I'm very happy to report that two of the five seeds have sprouted :-)))))) and I will post a picture very soon. Thank you for offering seeds of this beautiful species :-))))

I got my seeds yesterday THANK YOU!!!! :-)))) Today I plan on starting them but I'm looking through the archives to see which is the best way so I don't kill them like I did last time.

I have posted a few times how I germinate them with great success, but I'm sure there are many ways to do it successfully. Best of luck, Dan

That is good news Fred - these were definitely really good seed as they were nice and thick which is a good sign from my experience. Honestly, I'd be a bit surprised if you didn't end up with 60-80% germination success. Take good care of your new babies :o) Dan

So far 4 of the 5 seeds germinated but I think the last one will sprout too :-)))))

Hopefully they'll grow to be beautiful specimens. Thank you for the offer:-)))
