My multiflora had budded up at least 10 times and every time the buds have fallen off.

I don't know what I am doing wrong but maybe I can learn something from you.

Mine keep budding up also but simply turn yellow and fall. I have it in 4"pot inside another pot with water. I would also like to know how to keep the peduncles to this one. This variegated multiflora i recently acquire seems to doing okay.

Oh, I really like the variegated one. I need to add that to my wish list.

Congratulations Brad! I am so happy it is budding for you already! It's mama just started blooming a couple days ago, but the peduncle blasted all but 3 buds. I have quite a few more filled with buds that ahould be opening in a week or so.

I have been bunting for more of these locally to share with a couple people who asked, just have not found any yet.

And oh my... that variegated version is a beauty.

As for blooming, mine blooms faithfully but does drop buds and peduncles. Usually due to being too dry, cold, or too much direct sun. Mine seems happiest when I do not let it dry out, get too cold, and keep it in indirect light.

Also, check your fertilizer. May be a phosphorous issue (not enough). Mine seems to do well with just my willow/kelp extract stuff.

Was going to go check on the garden and the Hoyas, but we have some pesky tree swallows who have a nest near our dwarf peach tree lol.
