We back onto a beautiful farm so we built a deck to enjoy the view. In time we realized we need some protection from sun and rain.We went from thinking about an awning, to a screened in porch to a sun room! My husband who is a carpenter, was the genius behind the design.
The exterior is stone with a "hobbit door" to the storage space underneath.
The sun room has been great addition to our home and I must say, a real bonus compared to an awning, you think! After much deliberation and your help, we decided to keep the natural pine ceiling. Thanks for sharing!
