I have a cactus I have had for 40 years since college. It is about 3-4 feet tall.In the summer it is outside. Winter in the house. The plant leans and it is so heavy it pulls the roots which are not that deep out of the pot.So to prevent that I need a support stick..
Does it need a deeper pot? It is growing new thorns on top .
