Holes & browning on maple tree leaves

We have a maple tree in our yard that is over 100 years old. We have lived here 3 years and the leaves have some holes and browning on them this year. Any ideas on what it could be or if we should be concerned? I wanted to add we live in south east Idaho and it has been a 90 degree summer so far
