Weeds or Grass Spreading??

I planted some Karl Foerster Grass earlier this spring in some planters on my patio - the grass hasn't really grown that much but I've noticed a bunch of other greenery popping up right beside it - are these weeds (in the foreground) or is it the Karl Foerster spreading? Help, I need to get it under control if it's weeds!!

well, the definition of a weed is an unwanted plant. so, only you could answer that question. however, the grass growing in the middle is not the karl foerster reed grass. it would be a weed if it were my planter. :)

I too think that's a weed, I take it that you did not plant it, then thats a de facto weed. Pull it up its therapy.
